PORNOGRAPHY

You are not what you've watched.

Pornography addiction is real, treatable, and not your identity.

56%

of divorces cite pornography as a contributing factor.

11

years old is the average age of exposure to pornogrpahy based on studies

What's happening in your brain?

When you view pornography, your brain releases a surge of dopamine — the same chemical involved in all pleasure and reward. Over time, your brain adapts by reducing its dopamine receptors. This means you need more, and more intense, content to feel the same level of stimulation. It's not weakness. It's neuroscience.

This process — called tolerance buildup — is the same mechanism behind substance addiction. Your brain is literally being rewired. The prefrontal cortex, which governs impulse control and decision-making, weakens in its ability to say no. That's why willpower alone so rarely works: you're fighting your own brain chemistry.

WHAT FAITH SAYS

“No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.”

1 Corinthians 10:13

Grace is not a reward for people who have it together. It's a lifeline for people who don't.

This is not about shame. Faith says you are already loved — not because of what you've done or not done, but because of who you are.

The same God who knows what’s on your screen also knows every intention of your heart. He is not disgusted. He is not done with you. He is close.
